A meeting to evaluate the 2025-2026 academic year was held at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Fırat University, with the participation of student representatives. The meeting, chaired by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Gamze Kırkıl, was attended by the vice deans and departmental student representatives.
The meeting addressed academic course content, practical courses and clinical training processes, classroom and laboratory facilities, student counseling services, and problems encountered during the education process. Furthermore, discussions were held regarding student satisfaction, student suggestions and expectations, and improvement efforts for the upcoming term.
The meeting also included information on improvements made in line with the opinions and suggestions expressed by students in previous evaluation meetings. It was stated that the changes planned and shared with students at the beginning of the term have largely been implemented, and feedback was provided on the results of these adjustments and their contributions to the educational processes.
Student representatives had the opportunity to directly share their views, suggestions, and demands regarding the educational processes with the faculty administration, while the faculty administration emphasized that feedback from students is important for improving the quality of education. The meeting, where mutual evaluations were made, concluded after suggestions were received for strengthening the student-centered education approach and continuously improving educational activities.
