An Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training was conducted for academic and administrative staff and faculty students at our faculty to develop an occupational health and safety culture.
The training, held in the Fırat University Faculty of Health Sciences Conference Hall, was given by Dr. Semih Dikmen, Fırat University Quality Coordinator and OHS Specialist. The program provided participants with comprehensive information on the basic principles of occupational health and safety, risks that may be encountered in work environments, risk assessment processes, emergency management, and safe working methods. The training aimed to increase awareness of occupational health and safety among academic and administrative staff as well as students, and to contribute to the creation of safe working and learning environments. The training program, which was followed with great interest by the participants, emphasized the importance of occupational health and safety practices and stated that safety culture is an integral part of corporate life.
