The "Accessing Current Information in Health Sciences" training seminar, organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences at Firat University, was held. The training covered techniques for reading and evaluating scientific articles, accessing reliable academic sources, using basic databases (PubMed, CINAHL, WOS), AI-powered research tools, and effective literature review.
The training was conducted by Dr. Muharrem Gökhan Beydağı in the Faculty of Health Sciences Conference Hall. Participants were informed about the effective use of current digital tools in academic research processes, and methods for accessing literature and evaluating scientific sources were presented with practical examples.
The seminar also introduced the uses of AI-powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Consensus, NotebookLM, and PubMed AI in academic studies. At the end of the training, participants gained significant knowledge about quickly accessing accurate information and managing literature in scientific research.
