A training was organized for the students of Fırat University Faculty of Health Sciences in order to fight against drugs. The training, which took place at the Bahaeddin Ögel Conference Hall, was given by Eyyüp Esergün from the Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch of the Provincial Police Department.
In the training, the importance of combating narcotic crimes and substance addiction were discussed in detail. Esergün informed the students about the causes of substance addiction, the effects of the substances used, the places where drugs are sold and used, and the legal situation.
In the training, the “Uyuma Mobile Application” was introduced and the contributions of this application in the fight against drugs were explained. In addition, effective methods of combating narcotic crimes, professional solutions and the functions of centers for combating substance abuse were also emphasized. The training ended after the students' questions on the subject were answered.
